Issue 2.2B - March 2015, Non-Fiction
Born and raised in Seattle WA, Ric Welch used college as an excuse to flee the Pacific Northwest at the age of 18, head to Boston and never return. Now that he has theoretically completed the task of helping his daughters enter adulthood, he finds that his youthful intention of writing the great American novel still beguiles him. He lives in the Republic of Cambridge with the woman he loves and taps out stories and essays every now and then in the hopes one of them will finally compel Marty Scorcese to call.
